You bought a new iPhone and you want to shift from Android to iOS. Now, one of the first major challenges that you would face is shifting all your contacts to your new device. And seeing that it is such a huge problem there are some good old tried-and-tested solutions for it.
The first one is a solution by Apple itself which is an application designed for this specific purpose that is known as ‘Move to iOS’ which is available on Google Play Store. While the app may have poor ratings, it is still known to fulfil the purpose it is designed for.
It is easy to operate as there is an option available when you open the app which says ‘Move data from Android’. The app gives a code, entering which connects both of the phones together and then we can choose what we want to transfer to our ‘new’ phone. All the content will be thereby transferred and as an added bonus, even any free apps that you had on your Android phone shall be transferred given that they are available on the Apple App Store.
Another solution is using Google Sync. If your previous phone had contacts synced with your email account then logging into your email account can automatically sync all your contacts and also match the settings in your iOS device, as much as possible considering there is an operating system change.
So, these were two ways to move Android contacts to iOS.
