Oppo is all set to launch its Reno 12 series in India on July 12. The upcoming Reno 12 series will include two smartphones: the vanilla Oppo Reno 12 and the Oppo Reno 12 Pro. Speaking of the design first, the OPPO Reno 12 Pro might feature a dual-texture back panel with OPPO Glow technology on the upper part, which helps with the smudges, along with a glossy finish on the lower section. It can come in Sunset Gold and Space Brown colours. The vanilla variant, on the other hand, the vanilla OPPO Reno 12 might come in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver colours.
Coming to the display now, both the models can pack a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. They can have a 120Hz refresh rate and offer a “Quad-Micro Curved Infinite View” design. With this, Oppo has tried to achieve a 93.5% screen-to-body ratio.
The Oppo Reno 12 series can be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. You might also get plenty of AI features that include AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, and AI Eraser 2.0.
From what we hear, Oppo is focussing on durability with this smartphone series. It is offering
“All-Round Armour protection technology” that makes the phones resistant to drops and impacts. It has a high-strength alloy chassis. Further, on the protection front, Oppo might offer an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Coming to the camera part now, the OPPO Reno 12 Pro can pack a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel SONY LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There can also be a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The OPPO Reno 12, on the other hand, might also have a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. You might get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with this.
Also, it can pack a 5000mAh battery with 80-watt fast-charging support.
