Telugu show “Yakshini” is set to be a unique blend of genres, intertwining elements of romance, suspense, horror, and thriller. The story revolves around two central characters, Krishna and Maya. Krishna is depicted as a hopeless romantic, yearning for true love. On the other hand, Maya is a Yakshini, a mystical entity bound to Earth by an ancient curse. Her mission is to save her clan by eliminating a hundred men, a quest that fatefully intersects with Krishna’s life. As their paths cross, they embark on a journey filled with challenges that not only test their beliefs but also have the power to change their destinies.The series promises to offer a mix of comedic dialogues and scary incidents, with performances by notable actors such as Manchu Lakshmi, Rahul Vijay, and Ajay. Produced by Arka Mediaworks, “Yakshini” is anticipated to be a pan-Indian project, streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from June 14 in multiple languages, including Telugu.
