The Night Manager is a Hindi-language crime thriller series starring Anil Kapoor as Shailendra Rungta, a notorious arms smuggler, Aditya Roy Kapur as Shantanu Sengupta, a former Navy officer and hotel night manager, and Sobhita Dhulipala as Kaveri Dixit, Rungta’s girlfriend and a fashion designer. The series follows Sengupta as he is recruited by RAW officer Lipika Saikia Rao, played by Tillotama Shome, to infiltrate Rungta’s inner circle and expose his illegal activities, while also falling in love with Dixit. The series is based on the novel by John le Carré and the British series of the same name
