The third season of Panchayat takes us back to the charming village of Phulera, where the protagonist Abhishek, played by Jitendra Kumar, continues to navigate the complexities of village life. 1.Jitendra Kumar, who plays the lead role of Sachiv Ji, is a civil engineer and an IIT Kharagpur graduate. He left his job within eight months to pursue acting. Interestingly, he faced rejection after the second round of the qualifying exam at the National School of Drama.
2.Deepak Kumar Mishra, the director of “Panchayat,” drew inspiration from classic Doordarshan serials like “Malgudi Days,” “Swami,” and “Tenali Rama” to create the show’s premise. He also directed “Permanent Roommates” Season 2 and “Humorously Yours” Season 2.
3.Biswapati Sarkar, who appears as Abhishek Tripathi’s friend, Prateek, in the show, is friends with Jitendra Kumar in real life. They met during their college years, and Biswapati later invited Jitendra to join The Viral Fever (TVF) in 2012, marking the start of his acting career.
4.Rumors suggest that Abhishek could be relocated from Phulera, and there’s talk of Aasif Khan’s character, Ganesh, known for his catchphrase “Gazab bezzati hai,” making a comeback.
