1. Shilpa Shinde was originally cast for the role of Anita aka Gori mem and Rashmi Desai as Angoori but she chose the role of Angoori after the latter opted out.
2. Shubhangi Atre Poorly also replaced Shilpa Sinde in SAB TV's show Chidiya Ghar as she did in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pai Hai. Both played the same roles.
3. Rohitash, Shilpa, and Soma ( Manmohan Tiwari, Angoori, and Tiwari's mother respectively) have also worked together in the tv series "Lapataganj: Sharad Joshi ki kahaniyo ka data".
4. In 'Chidiya Ghar', Shilpa Shinde played the role of Koyal Narayan and when she opted out, Shubhangi Atre Poore replaced her. Coincidently in 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' when Shilpa left the role of Angoori Tiwari, Shubhangi Atre Poore replaced her.
5. This show is inspired by the classic Hindi Comedy Serial "SHRIMAN SHRIMATI" which starred 'Rakesh Bedi' in one of the lead roles. Coincidently Rakesh Bedi stars in this show as Angoori Tiwari's father Bhoorey Laal.
6. Aashif Sheikh (VIBHUTI MISHRA) and Rakesh Bedi (BHOOREY LAAL) previously acted together in a serial named "YES BOSS" which aired on SAB TV
7. Subhangi Atre Poore won the role of Angoori Bhabi after the audition of 80 candidates
8. Vishwajeet Soni (PREM CHAUDHARY) and Kishore Bhanushali (COMMISSIONER RESHAM PAL) based their roles on two Bollywood legends, Soni for Prem Chopra and Bhanushali for the late Devanand.
9. Akshay Kumar has appeared three times in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai which is the most number of appearances by Akshay Kumar in any tv serial plus the most number of appearances by any film actor in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai.
10. Manmohan runs a business and is married to a simple girl, while Narayan is unemployed but has an ultra-modern wife. Both attempt to impress each other's spouse, landing themselves in funny situations.
11. Given the show's popularity, in 2017, it was reported that the show will be adapted for British and Anglo-Spanish Audience, produced by ZEE Studios under the title 'Love Thy Neighbor'
12. In October 2016, film actress Sunny Leone came in for a sequence shot on the set of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai!. While on set, she refused to say Angoori's catchphrase "Sahi Pakde Hain" ("You got it right!") as she thought it has a vulgar meaning. It took approximately one hour for the makers to convince her that Angoori says this line in literal context and has no vulgar meaning to it and the shoot was resumed.
