The story is about the young boy’s own desire to achieve what his father had once wished for. Set in Calcutta of 1994, Toolsidas is an ace snooker player who hopes to defeat five-time champion Jimmy Tandon. He assures his adolescent son Midi that the trophy is coming home this time, but at the last moment, he loses the game. This event devastates the duo's heart and Midi embarks on a journey to master the game himself in order to fulfil his father’s dream. He sets out to find a mentor who will help him to fulfil his goal. The movie is very fast-paced and will keep the audience hooked throughout.
The protagonist delivers an honest and endearing performance and evokes numerous emotions in the audience with his endearing performance. With a simple storyline, 'Toolsidas Junior' wins hearts and leave the audience with a smile on their face.

2.Actor Rajiv Kapoor's very last film (posthumous) after 32 years as actor, is going to release on 4th March, 2022, clashing with Amitabh Bachchan's Jhund in theatres. It is produced by Ashutosh Gowariker, Sunita Gowariker, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
3.Producer, Ashutosh Gowariker said that Rajiv Kapoor's performance in the film will surprise audiences. It is his finest work. He felt sad that Rajiv Ji passed away and could not see his own performance on screen which was clearly his best.
