Operation Romeo is an official remake of the Malayalam film 'Ishq Not a love story’. The movie revolves around the story of a young couple Aditya Sharma and Neha Kasliwal who decide to go out for a date to celebrate Neha’s birthday. During the date, they are caught kissing in their car by two men – Mangesh and Kiran who are posing as police officers. The film is a cat and mouse race between the two men and has a thrilling storyline that captivates the audience. The men posing as policemen are perverts and try to blackmail the couple due to their circumstances.
Operation Romeo has some thrilling moments with the two egoistic men the boyfriend Aditya, and one of the men who is posing as a policeman. The movie revolves around just four central characters with some interesting plot twists. It dwells on the age-old problem of moral policing in India. The movie has a strong topicality which resonates with the majority of young adults. The unique drama thriller is based on a true event.
