In a series of twists, Freddy turns out to be conflicted but agrees to kill Ali, owing to his father, David’s displeasure bordering on hate towards Ali. David is Rosalyn’s brother, who is Ali’s wife. He had been on good terms with Ali during Rosalyn’s and Ali’s marriage but had a series of fallouts with him, on accounts of which David and his wife want Ali dead now.
Before being sent to jail, Jameela, Ali’s mother, meets Freddy. Here, the first flashback reveals the story of why Jameela is conspiring with the police back in the 1960s, and why she is asking Freddy in the present time not to kill Ali and instead be brought before court. Then, Freddy is visited by his parents, who narrate another anecdote of David’s fallout with Ali.
Freddy attempts to strangle Ali during his prayer, where Ali suffers a panic attack and wails about David’s involvement in Ali’s son’s death. Freddy is conflicted, but the doctor arrives to kill Ali instead, who happens to be a conspirator from the past.
