The movie tells the story of a bunch of people living in Kannur who believe in the 'eye for an eye’ principle in the name of political parties. The party workers are not evil but are conditioned to keep up the honour of ideologies. They are willing to sacrifice anything and anyone in the name of their political leaders leaving behind poverty, tragedies, and incomplete families. Shanu and Sumesh are childhood friends and grow up as party workers under the guidance of Sakhavu Sadhanandan. He is for all purposes their godfather and whose instructions they obey without any second thoughts. After the murder of party worker MA Nagendran, their party decides to commit a revenge killing to save its honour. Sadhanandan assigns Shanu, Sumesh and two of their close friends to commit the murder. However, after the killing, their lives take an unexpected turn and they become prey in the game of equivalence.
