Kooman is a thriller movie which revolves around a policeman who is harassed by a stalker. The story takes place in a hilly village on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border which has people from different cultures from both states. A strict police officer relocates there and the subsequent chain of events that turn his and many others’ lives upside down associated with the police station form the plot of the movie. Giri Shankar is an honest yet strict police officer at Nedumpara Police Station. He is known among the locals for his acumen in solving cases, however, things take an unexpected turn when the town witnesses a series of targeted petty thefts. The culprits even target Giri. Suddenly a few incidents that have happened in the village in the past, suddenly appear to be unnatural.
