He steals and scours for information and figures out that 9C is the room having a duct system leading to those jewels, but is booked for World Dance Championship (WDC) participants. He pitches the idea to participate; his crew refuses but Charlie persuades them. They search for dance teachers and with great effort find Mohini, a Marathi bar dancer. She doesn’t know of their heist and agrees to teach them. Mohini and Charlie grow close.
The team clears the first round through blackmail of exposing the judges’ private information, and gets the slot to represent India internationally. In Dubai, Team India grows beloved to viewers after they save a Korean opponent, who were originally very hostile to India. The heist is prolonged when the team learns that the gems will arrive on the New Year’s.
In this time, Mohini reprimands the team for not revealing their true intentions. Charlie informs them that Manohar is dead due to Grover. It strengthens the team’s resolve to avenge his death and show Grover his place, and thus on the finale day, they set the heist into motion. Through quick wit and long tries and fails, and some of Manohar’s sentiment and structuring of the safe, they break it open, steal and begin to flee.
Mohini stays to perform to defend the honour of the country, when Grover accuses the team as thieves. But the rest of the team eventually joins Mohini and performs, outwitting Grover and the security and still managing to win the tournament. Grover and Vicky are put in jail.
