Vasu and Nandini fall in love but she keeps it a secret and jets off to the United States for her dream career. Vasu ultimately decides to join RAW after finding that his parents were killed in sectarian riots planned by Pakistan's ISI.
Nandini returns to India to care for Vasu and they share some amorous moments, but their joy is fleeting as Vasu begins to have hallucinations about his failed mission. Soon after, it is revealed that all of the hallucinations were staged by Vasu in order to track down his adversaries. ISI, who was discreetly watching them, kidnaps Nandini. Soon after, senior RAW members recognize his abilities. Vasu saves Nandini with the assistance of RAW, saves Mathura from a massive explosion, and eventually kills ISI head by drowning him in the river.
