She finds out her 60-year-old father Brammananda who works as a security guard, has been implicated in the gang rape. She reaches out to Banu Prakash -a top lawyer who is also a family friend who assures the police that they have arrested the wrong man. However, the identity of her father is revealed by the media which leads to Gargi's family becoming ostracised in the eyes of the public. Banu Prakash also gives up the case.
Next, an inexperienced junior lawyer Indrans Kaliyaperumal finds a way to prove Gargi’s dad's innocence. The hard-hitting drama unfolds like a tense thriller and captures the complexities involved in crimes that involve sexual abuse.
