Finding Courage is a documentary directed by Kay Rubacek. The film tells the story of Yifei Wang, a former journalist for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. Her family is torn apart due to their practice of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that the CCP sought to eradicate. Yifei's sister is murdered, her brother is sentenced to 13 years in prison, and Yifei herself is arrested. After escaping to the United States, Yifei, along with her husband Gordon, seeks to hold the CCP accountable for her sister's death. The documentary follows their journey as they gather evidence and confront their traumatic past. The film also includes interviews with former Chinese officials, providing a rare insider look into the regime's totalitarian rule.
