Briggs is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and has difficulty making emotional connections with people. He wants to become a ranger again, and for his reinstatement, he has to complete one task on time. That is delivering an Army dog to the funeral of a veteran who served with Briggs. The dog Lulu is severely traumatised from being in a war zone and no one can go near her. She has already sent three people to the emergency room and after the funeral, she is expected to be put down. On the way to the funeral, Briggs and Lulu drive each other completely crazy and break a number of laws. They narrowly evade death, and eventually learn to let down their guards to become the best of friends for life. The light-hearted comedy movie deals with a sensitive issue and fills you with optimism.
