Angshuman MBA is a family entertainer movie which follows the story of two middle-class families. Angshu the main protagonist- hates his father’s hosiery business. All his friends mock ‘Angshuman’ about the family business. He decides to pursue an MBA to start his own business. However, he falls in love with Labonyo who is very different from his character.
Labonyo is a Tagore-aficionado. She doesn’t believe in social media presence and her life revolves around her family. She is a family-oriented girl who is not frivolous and her grandfather is her mentor. She is a romantic but doesn’t fall in love easily. When Angshu meets her at her friend’s wedding he instantly falls in love with her. How their chemistry develops in spite of their different nature is the crux of the movie. There are several contradictions in culture between the hero and heroine as well as their respective families and that’s what the film captures. It also shows the conflict between the father and the son- traditional and modern outlook. The complete family entertainer has a star-studded cast and has some excellent performances.
