Adipurush is an amazing action packed Hindu mythological film based on the ancient Sanskrit epic Ramayana. King Dashrath who is childless conducts a yagna for children and his three wives are blessed with 4 sons who grow up to be excellent warriors under Guru Vashista's training. Raghava is incarnate of Shri Vishnu on and the son of King Dashrath and Queen Kaushalya of Ayodhya. Raghava’s wife Janaki is incarnate of Goddess Lakshmi.
The film follows the journey of Raghava, the prince of Ayodhya who goes to an exile of 14 years along with his wife Janaki and younger brother Lakshman. The movie has amazing visuals and is based on the story of Ramayana. It has elaborate sets and is based 7,000 years ago when Ayodhya's king Raghava travels to the island of Lanka to rescue his wife Janaki, who has been abducted by Lankesh, the king of Lanka. He takes the help of hanuman's army on his journey to save Janaki from the evil king. He defeats King Lankesh and his evil army and brings back Queen Janaki to Ayodhya.
