Successor to one of the most critically acclaimed TWS earbuds of their time for their price, performance, and design, the Nothing Ear (2) came into the market riding a wave of hype and excitement that few products have at the time of launch. The Ear (2) carried over some design elements from the Ear (2) with a few necessary changes that made these earbuds a nice deal. That was until you looked at the price. Priced at ₹9,999, the Nothing Ear (2), landed Carl Pei and Co in the midst of commentary about how Nothing was going down the OnePlus route, launching bang-for-the-buck devices at the start with a limited portfolio and then expanding into the premium segment. Nothing Ear (2) makes for a decent purchase at ₹9,999. Their ANC is decent for the price, and their sound signature and app are well-rounded for the price. The only thing that they lose out on, when compared to their competitors, is the battery life, which came in at four and a half hours. While this is a whole hour longer than that of the Nothing Ear (1), with ANC ON and volume at 50 per cent, it is lower than that of some competing offerings. If you are someone who appreciates excellent product design, wants a great app experience with well-tuned drivers for the price, and decent ANC performance at the cost of some performance loss in the battery department, then the Nothing Ear (2) are the TWS earbuds you should go for.
