Image Playground:

iOS 18.2 update has added Image Playground and now the users will be able to create personalized, fun, and imaginative images just by providing text descriptions. It can also make animations, illustrations, costumes, themes, and much more. It comes integrated with the Messages application Freeform and Keynote.

Genmoji

Just like Image Playground, Genmoji will allow the users to generate custom emojis based on the text prompts. It can include the Genmojis inspired by friends or family members. After making the Genmojis, the users can share them in messages as stickers or reactions.

Image Wand

Another anticipated feature for the users who like to do creative work on their devices. The new feature allows users to create dynamic visuals for the Notes application. Be it transforming a simple sketch into a beautiful image or adding context to handwritten or typed notes, it can help you with ease. The users can circle a sketch or empty space and generate images that complement the note.

ChatGPT Integration

The iOS 18.2 also adds the much anticipated ChatGPT integration across Siri and Writing tools, allowing users to access AI-powered assistance directly from the devices. The users can ask ChatGPT via Siri for certain tasks or use it to generate content within writing tools. It will make tasks faster and more efficient.

Writing Tools

The new update brings Describe Your Change within the Writing Tools, allowing users to make specific changes to their text. The new feature provides more control over writing style. It includes Rewrite, Proofread, and Summarise options.

Camera Control

The iPhone 16 series users can now access Camera Controls. The users can now get more information by simply pointing the camera towards objects, places, and even text. The feature allows users to detect phone numbers and email addresses, translate text, and search Google for product availability. Additionally, Camera Control integrates with ChatGPT for better problem-solving.

Additionally, iOS 18.2 adds localized English support for a number of new regions, including the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa.
