The Nokia Lumia 930, which was feared to be not coming to India, has finally been launched in the country. It is the flagship offering from Nokia and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC along with 20 MP rear camera. The device is priced at Rs. 38,649 and runs on Microsoft's Windows Phone OS.
Display
The 5 inch 1080p AMOLED display on the Lumia 930 is perhaps the best ever on a Lumia device. Of course, the Windows Phone OS does make a difference, but the display seems good on first impressions.
Build
The Lumia 930 has a metal rim around the device, which gives it a very premium feel. It is also not very big, with slimmer bezels compared to the Lumia 830.
Thickness
The device is 9.8 mm thick and also quite heavy. This also makes it quite heavy and has a slightly rounded polycarbonate plastic back. The device is quite comfortable to hold and carry around though.
Buttons
The on-screen buttons that we saw on the Lumia 730 aren't present on the 930 (or the 830).
Camera
The device has a 20 MP rear camera along with a 1.2 MP front camera. What is somewhat surprising though is that the Lumia 930 doesn't get a Pureview camera like Nokia's last flagship. The camera seemed satisfactory on first impressions though.
