Within three months of the launch of Samsung’s second flagship of the year, Note10 and Note10+, rumours for next year’s flagship, Galaxy S11 have started trickling in. It is too early for solid leaks, but the latest rumours claim that Samsung Galaxy S11 will sport next-generation 108MP camera sensor. While many of us were assuming that Samsung will use the recently unveiled ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, there could be a second-generation 108MP sensor in development.

The latest development comes from Chinese leakster Ice Universe who took to Twitter to reveal that Samsung will be using a new 108MP sensor on the Galaxy S11. However, the tipster didn’t reveal any information on how the new sensor will be different from the ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, which was developed in collaboration with Xiaomi. To recall, the 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX was launched in August this year.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 is also rumoured to sport a quad rear camera setup with support for a 5x optical zoom module. In reference, Samsung Galaxy Note10 lineup features a telephoto lens with only 2x optical zoom.

Samsung Galaxy S11 is rumoured to be launched in February 2020. According to previous leaks, the smartphone could feature a 20:9 aspect ratio display. The device was reportedly spotted on an HTML 5 benchmark test according to which, Samsung Galaxy S11 sports a 20:9 screen aspect ratio and runs Android 10.

To recall, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10 come with 19:9 aspect ratio screens. In contrast recent devices like Galaxy A80 and Galaxy A70 sport a taller 20:9 display. Samsung is also said to reduce the overall size of the punch hole in the Infinity-O panel. Little is known about the Samsung Galaxy S11's display, but the front camera may be moved closer to the upper bezel.
