Samsung's Galaxy F04 is the latest budget smartphone from the South Korean giant. The Samsung Galaxy F04 is priced at Rs 7,499 in India and the smartphone comes in two colour options - Jade Purple and Opal Green.
The first smartphone from Samsung in 2023 has been launched with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 720 x 1600p resolution. The Samsung Galaxy F04 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The MediaTek Helio P35 is a common chipset in the budget category, with many OEMs using the Helio P35 as the go-to chip for smartphones in this range.
Camera on the Samsung Galaxy F04 is a rather basic dual rear camera setup that includes a 12-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. Up front, the Samsung Galaxy F04 has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. While on paper the camera doesn't seem impressive, the actual quality of this camera setup is subject to testing.
Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy F04 has been launched with Android 12, but the smartphone is promised to get at least two years of OS updates, meaning that buyers of the Samsung Galaxy A04 will be able to update their smartphone till Android 14. In terms of security updates, the Galaxy F04 will follow the lead of other Samsung smartphones in this range.
